It fits.

2 boltholes actually line right up.

Need to make a bracket that ties it into the factory tow hook bolt holes but that is easy, will show pics of that when the steel arrives next week. (Local steel supply is expensive and never stocks anything)

Some might question why a Tacoma bumper, well, I dont really like the Hefty (love the skids though) and the Shrockworks takes 6+ months. CBI actually has these things already made, mine was here in less than a week after ordering.

The fit is not as perfect as one designed for our vehicles, but its close enough and looks sweet. Actually it would fit REALLY good with a 2" Body Lift, which now that I received the bumper I plan on doing.

EDIT: Adding more info to original post.

Snapped some pics before I left for work, you can see how a 2" body lift will take care of any fitment "issues", actually I wouldn't call them an issue per say, but it will just make it fit better. Alternatively you could make the bracket so the bumper is mounted lower. Since most people who do a TS also do a BL, it makes sense for me just to go ahead and do the BL anyways.

A bracket will be made to tie into the tow hook bolt locations as well as into the remaining bolt holes on the bumper itself. Only 2 additional holes will be required to be made in the bumper. I also want to make a bracket that ties the Hefty rad skid to the bumper, just for a little more strength in the middle of the hefty rad skid incase it smashes into a rock or something.

Are you driving around with it or just have it mocked up? Looks sick if you could take some pics of your brackets when done that would be super!
I actually already drilled the 2 bottom holes so now its held on as securely as the stock bumper. Obviously this wont work for winching or snatching but its fine for driving.

UPS shows the steel will be here on Tuesday and the winch (Smittybilt 10k X2O Synthetic) on Wednesday. ::smile::

Will take pics of the mounting bracket so others can copy it if they want.

I have a question for you. Since you have experience getting 2nd gen taco bumpers to fit on Frontiers. Do you think this would fit on our Frames?

I would be more willing to give it a shot if you think it would be workable to the frame
