Hello all...I am finally going back on Tour after 15 months of 🐴...I moved out of LA when the live concert industry was eliminated 15 mo ago; where I had covered parking while away. Now I'm parked outside in 100° sun & need a cover when gone months at a time...has anyone found a cover that will fit a King Cab with canopy?
Of course I could pull the racks if necessary
TIA
There is probably not a Frontier cover that is quite so specific, but I'm sure one made for a similar-sized SUV would fit just fine. I think the Pathfinder is shorter than the Frontier so that might not work.
I would apply a good paint sealant or ceramic coating instead of putting a cover on it. The cover can lead to paint marring if it gets blown a lot by the wind. If dirt gets underneath the cover you will end up with paint damage that could be avoided. A good carbon ceramic tint will help with the UV rays.
I bought this 2005 9 months ago from an elderly woman (original owner)...it had a "Shield" applied at some point. Not sure if it had UV protection, but the paint is faded. I noticed my door jams were brighter than the outside, then 4 months ago I bought this 2006 Canopy in same paint code & it matches my door jams.
Ps. I found a cover for 2nd gen (King Cab with Canopy) at CarCovers.com
