Hey everyone! Long time no post.

So I want a Captain America shield to replace the nissan emblem on the grill of my pro4x. Anyone know of a place to buy such a thing? If not how hard would it be to DIY up?

Well, first you'll need some vibranium and adamantium.
Then you only need to find tooling that can handle machining it.

Only Vibranium. Adamantium is Wolverines claws. Some of those would be nice too...

Rogers' indestructible shield was long referred to, even in continuity, as being composed of an adamantium, vibranium, and uranium alloy. In actuality, the experimental iron alloy is now referred to as "proto-adamantium", which is slightly stronger than true adamantium. Dr. MacLain's experiments with proto-adamantium lead to the creation of true adamantium. This proto-adamantium (the only known source) was incorporated with the vibranium in the shield.

Somewhere along the line they added in some adamantium apparently.

I'm not sure of the diameter of our emblem on the front (don't feel like walking out in the rain right now) but you could always put a decal over top of it like this one.

I believe it is 6.5 inches at the widest. A decal wont work on the 3d surface of the emblem. I was hoping for something that looked high quality.

Find somebody that does 3D printing for a one off custom?
Then it would just be a matter of painting it the way you want.
That would be your best bet probably.

Or, you could get someone to CNC machine one out of metal, but that would be pretty expensive.

These guys are in Chattanooga.
Maybe they could make something for you.
Here's one from Ebay.
Smaller than what you want but they do custom work.
Maybe inquire as to the size you want.
