Looking for suggestions for camping sites east of Steamboat springs. Power is not required but the ladies to prefer some sort of toilets.

Additionally we are fans of camping near water...

I will be pulling my trailer but she is mostly just dirt road capable and I still have about 1500 miles from this campsite to home so looking for somewhere easy accessable.

I am coming from Custer SD and will be heading east after meeting up with friends and camping for a few days.

The end game is nice camping site to share with friends from England near water...

If your passing through. About an hour ish east of Steamboat it the poudre canyon with campsites galore a few have power and most all have restrooms. They are mostly all right next to the poudre river. Kelly flats camp ground is usually my favorite and you can drop down to ft collins and be headed east pretty easily.

There is also the north sand hills which is locals call Walden sand dunes. No water but there are a few bathrooms and you can camp and have all the room in the world.

We decided to just drive the little extra and go to Steamboat lake State Park... loving it!
