Aloha everyone,

So i got the 4 cam bolts but not sure where 2 of them go. As of right now i can tell that 2 of the bolts go on the lower control arm, where do the other 2 go? Im guessing that the other 2 adjust caster but dont know where to put them in. Gonna take my truck in for a alignment but wanna put the bolts in before had. thanks in advance for the help.

all go on the lowers... all 4 mounting points for the lower control arm

Should they be put on beforehand? I ASSumed that if you didn't put them on correctly then your alignment would be very out of whack.

The alignment will be whack no matter what you do when you first put in the cam bolts. Just make sure you put them all in in the same direction because if one is facing a different way I highly doubt the alignment tech would be able to figure that out when he can't align it properly. Been there, done that and the alignment tech said I need to take my truck to a frame straightening shop so I said thanks for the advice give me my keys.

Didn't even think about it. I was moreso calling myself that as I wasn't sure if I was wrong or not on the assumption. Only time I remember that there is a sensor is when I see asterisks in a post.

Back to my Q though, is it better to just hand them over @ the shop or is it perfectly fine to just pop them in yourself and drive to the shop?

Considering the OP wanted to could not find where the cam bolts are supposed to go.... Just hand them over to the shop.
