Here ya go. I have a knock off of a 40 series flowmaster and the intake. But also dough thorley headers. However in these videos I think my muffler was going bad. Im getting the shop to replace it for me with a real flowmaster. Something came loose inside this one. I would suggest a 40 series flowmaster and 2.25" piping if you do the intake as well.

Probably will work. Definitely want to do an intake. I havent heard of many guys using 2.5" piping on the 4 cylinder. Might be a little too big and sound too ricey. And then you get into the whole backpressure thing. Im not really sure though. I've just always gone with flowmasters and custom piping on our trucks. On mine I just went from the cat back wit 2.25" piping. Shot to the muffler with only two 45 degree bends instead of a bend up and two 90 degree bends. And then a turn down right after the muffler

well its a cat back system, the back pressure should remain the same due to the the cat forward not changing. think of puting your finger over the end of a garden hose, you restrict the flow of water at one point and still maintain that pressure as the water exits the hose. now if you straight pipe it then yes you are dropping back pressure, just as if you remove your thumb you lose all pressure coming out the end of the hose.

yah my headers removed my primary cat and thats why i only did my cat back exhaust in 2.25". 2.5" might be ricey sounding i dont know. I dont know much about gibson though. Didnt even know about it. Hopefully you can find someone else who already has it on a 4 cylinder.

I ran 2.5 all the way back from the cat on an 04 frontier 4 cyl I had. It helped that little 4 banger do things alright, I am old school and stick with what's tried & proven like Nissan and Flowmaster 40 series delta flow.
