Anyone else have an issue with their windows rattling (manual windows) when they're less than all the way up or down? They seem loose. Is there a way to tighten them? I'd pop the panel off and look but I can't seem to get the c-clip off of the window handle. Any tips for removing the door panel? Thanks!

They rattled like mad on both my 99 and my 95 when partly open - there is really nothing to keep them from vibrating and rattling when not fully open or closed.

As for the c-clip just keep after it. I used a putty knife to push it back far enough to pop the handle off. I don't think you are going to be able to do anything about the rattle, though.

An o ring pick in the shape of a hook is what I always use, just fish it under the "loop" of the clip and pull. The windows need new molding if they rattle like that.

Weren't we just talking about this a short while ago. Mine have rattled when not all the way up or down since the day I got it about 6 years ago. When I asked my uncle about it who was the original owner of the truck he said it did that from day one. My window rubber has more than likely deteriorated in these 6 years and is now worst but I always keep my windows up when I am driving so it doesn't bother me anyway.

I know this is talking about a 1st gen, but my 2010 does the same thing. I wonder if something snapped back together less than perfect when I changed the speakers?

My window had some rattle in it. Actually one of the windows could be pulled up by hand. Basically there are two little black 'U' clips for a lack of better phrasing that are glued to the window and bolted to the regulator? Anyways mine were so corroded that I could just pull them off, sand them out, reglue and rebolt. Fixed my problem, not sure if its the same as yours.
