For the bully dog super users out there. I have had a BD GT installed on my 15 P4X now for about 8 months. I have it set up to view various temps, mpg etc. Can this tuner be used for any other options on these trucks? Like changing when the lights come on, or traction control just as an example? I am aware of the vehicle features like changing the idle (which I used to get rid of the vibration at idle), and changing the timing. Also when using the premium fuel tune, I have heard the VQ40 likes +2 degrees of timing. Should I add two degrees on the premium tune? What are the optimal settings in everyone s opinions to get the most out of this tuner? Thanks to everyone for their time and input!!

any other options on these trucks?:: sadly, no.

Should I add two degrees:: yes. even on the lesser tunes a bump of timing will improve things. More performance you are running (intake, IMS, exhaust, tune, catch can...) better a timing bump will affect. oh-by-the-way if you run a custom tune (Uprev)they are increasing timing and fueling to get better performance...

On my 2015 I did notice a slight increase in power running the 93octane tune, and did notice 2-3 mpg improvement. Also with the tuner you can change the throttle sensitivity which will also make a difference. As far as increases, I would guess maybe 5-8hp at best. This has not been proven by dyno, just my opinion. On my 2014 Mustang GT I gained 17 Hp to the wheels with a very custom dyno tune. Unfortunately no company I am aware of writes tunes that will work with a BD tuner.
