Okay guys, I just picked up a 2000 Frontier XE Crew Cab. 152k miles. I have an appt, with my mechanic to get a look at what needs to be done/baseline service. The intended use is camping with the family/hunting vehicle. After the fluid changes and PM, I will be looking for new tires and possibly a small lift (0-3") I have looked in the forum for options and have found through the sticky's the Nisstec (ultimate lift) option. Any advise about what to do next would be helpful! Thanks

Make sure the timing belt has been replaced. It was due at 105,000 miles. If you're not sure, you are better off replacing it than taking a chance it wasn't.

Hey thanks for the response, yes, I did ask the previous owner about this but she had no idea. I was able to find a sharpie date with timing belt replacement info inside the engine compartment though! Today I received a cabin air filter from amazon... and found nowhere to put it, until I read the instructions on where to cut. Thanks to the Forums for the help!
