Hi All - Just a quick positive note. Took my truck in on Friday for the fuel sending unit recall and couple other issues. Went to Bruce Bennett Nissan in Wilton, CT and had one of the best experiences I have ever had with car service. The Service Manager, Bob Furman, was fantastic and very personable. They even gave me a free rental for the day! They did the following:

1. Changed my fuel sending Unit (recall). Changed the entire unit, not just the float.

2. Had brake squeal when starting out. Cut all rotors and fixed the problem.

3. Had a water leak in the roof rack. took out the rack, found the problem, sealed it and FIXED!

All of this cost me $0!!! Thanks to those guys and I just wanted to post something positive for all the dealerships out there. Take notice that Bruce Bennett (formally Bob Sharp) did a fantastic job!!!

That's where I go. Mr. Furman is good. I was in there Friday to get my headlight replaced. It's formally Bob Sharp Nissan so there's a racing background there if that matters at all.

They sure seem good. Thanks for the response. Thanks for the CAI info you posted. I was going to purchase a Volant until I saw your picks and all the issues pulling codes. I figured its not worth it to go through all that trouble. Keeping it stock

I'm glad your experience with them was better than mine. I went to Bruce Bennet when I was looking at the truck and they put one of their high pressure sales people on me. That stuff doesn't work on me, it just sends me to the next dealer faster. Plus they gave me a real lowball offer on a trade which I told them I didn't want to do anyway but let them humor me.

Their service department may be good but I was turned off by the sales department.
