Photobucket pulled a fast one (technical term) and now a lot of the photos on the site are broken until the owner rehosts them. You may be able to call Nisstec or PRG to get some help on the install, though. Good luck!

Thanks for informing me about the photo bucket situation. The instructions our members post are many many times better then the manufacturers!

Photobucket now charges it's users to host pictures that can be seen from other sites (such as this forum). It has become a major undertaking to rehost photos at another site (recommend hosting your own if you have the ability as there is nothing to keep the next free site from doing the same thing). It also requires the OP to go into each thread and relink each missing photos to the new host.

It's a real mess on almost every forum...

Figure I would share this with you guys. Someone came up with a photobucket link fix. I have been using it for several weeks with no ill effect. Only thing that I noticed to be slightly off, and I mean VERY SLIGHTLY, is that when you scroll up fast with the mouse wheel the images take a second longer to appear.

Edit: easy links

Hey guys,

I wrote a Google Chrome browser extension that, once installed, will make all broken Photobucket images on any webpage visible again. To install it, if you're using Google Chrome, just go to this link, click Add to Chrome, and you're good to go! From then on, any page you visit with broken Photobucket images will show up as they did before Photobucket nuked them. You don't click on anything, or do anything else, to get the pictures to be fixed. It happens automatically. They will not be fixed for anyone else -- they will just show up as fixed for people using the browser extension.

In case anyone wants to look at the code behind the extension, you can look at it here: https://github.com/TheAtomicGoose/pbfix

Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps!

Jesse
