The 265/75-16 is the stock tire on the NISMO, that size should fit the SE with no problem. From what I can tell, the rims are the same width.

Hi Krook, Thats my truck you are refering too. Should have no problem whats so ever with the 265/75/16's. I had the REVO's on my 2001 SE DR and really liked them so had a set put on the 05.

Wirenut,

Great looking truck :)

By all accounts the rim dimensions are the same on the Nismo and SE wheels, so I don't think I'm worried about size anymore.

But what occurred to me is if the SE's softer suspension might be a factor... explaining why the SE comes with the shorter tire. Should I be concerned about that? Do the wheels travel farther inside the well with the softer suspension?

Also, as it turns out, the 265/75 tire is cheaper than the 265/70, so I that's weighing my decision to the larger tire. :)

I think the only difference between the SE and the NISMO are the Blistien Shocks, which give the NISMO a bit stiffer ride. I don't think there is any difference in the rest of the Suspension components, so travel should be the same. With the money you save on the tires, you can add some stiffer shocks and your SE can ride just like a NISMO! 8O (Which really isn't all that bad!)

My 2005 CC Nismo rides smoother than my 2001 SE DR KC did. Thats one of the things my wife noticed first when we test drove a Nismo. I myself like to feel the road under me a little.
