I read an older post that said the box under my driver side seat is the ABS comp. My 2000 frontier has this box,but it dosn't have ABS. The reason I ask is,I backed my truck a little too far down a boat ramp and filled the back of the cab with water, right up to the box.I've got it dried out now. Now ive got to check the trans and rear end.

Water in Cab ?

.... I backed my truck a little too far down a boat ramp and filled the back of the cab with water, ....I've got it dried out now....
The ECM & ABS control electronics are supposed to be "Water - Proof".
This prevents condensation drops from shorting-out a 10 cent part that will bring a Frontier to a dead stop.
Sooooo as long as you did not dip the air intake into the water, you should be OK ....

I guess this guy went in front-eeeeee first:

Water in Cab ... Part 2

Those 4L V6 Crew Cabs have too much power.
You could end up with water in the cab.
The Frontier 2.5L Four Banger has the best Torque output in its class.

Erroneous.

Can anyone explain to me this concept of "too much." I don't think that it is possible to have too much of anything, especially engine power.
