Yeah my truck is more of an offroad rig but I don't do anything really serious. Powdercoating is a little pricey for my budget.Since this is under the offroad section then I would never have a shop paint them for you. If you scratch them or anything, you will have to bring it back and pay them more to fix it.
Now if you are a street truck only and run a very little chance of scratching a rim, then yes a shop may be a smart decision if you can't paint at all. Plus, you will be able to get any color you want. PowderCoating is also an option that way too. Just depends on what is in the budget.
Yea, for offroad, PCing is a bit much too. Yes it can hold up but one good wack by a rock rolling down the hill can scratch or chip it.Yeah my truck is more of an offroad rig but I don't do anything really serious. Powdercoating is a little pricey for my budget.
I'm gonna get a quote today on getting them painted.
If they are doing the proper prep and spray with numerous coats and clear then 50 may be okay but still no where near what you can do it for yourself.@Dubie, I'm getting them done in matte black.
Got a quote today, $50 a wheel, is that a good or bad price?
It's probably a good price but imho, it isn't money well spent.@Dubie, I'm getting them done in matte black.
