Have a 2013 Frontier (bought new) w/o navigation. Until about 6 months ago Bluetooth worked fine, then stop showing names, only numbers. Yesterday it stopped understanding any of my voice command, I say home and it responds help, I say a name and it says command not recognized. Today I deleted and re-paired my phone it recognizes the phone but still doesn't understand my voice command. I have an iPhone 7, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have the same unit. I am curious if you have tried to make a phone call to verify that the Bluetooth mic is ok and working properly.
One way to test is to call your “own” voice mail and listen to your message.
At least this might narrow down the issue.

Yes, I can make a phone call, if I use my phone to dial, and I can receive call with it. It just won't take a voice command. Took it to the dealerships today, the tech paired his phone and all worked. He suggested I do an update on my phone, I do need to do an update on the phone. I'll post back and let you know if that helped. I do have to take it back to the dealer to fix a leak and they said they would reset the stereo system and see if that works. Again I'll post any results I have.
I agree that I'm current, it worked just a couple a days ago. I did update my phone an deleted and re-paired it to my Frontier, still didn't work. However I hadn't rebooted my phone in awhile, so I did that and now it works, but it still won't show the name when someone calls just the number. It will show the name when I call out though. Hopefully the dealer will be able to figure that out when they reset the stereo system on Monday.
