I really like the white leds that I put in, but it still doesn't match the blue leds in everything else. my HU is blue and white so I did a little work on the cluster. Hope you like it.

How I did it:

There is no way to get behind the oil & voltage gauges. I tried but I still think it looks good. it matches my HU perfectly.

Its a very simple mod if you already have everything apart to swap the leds. the nice thing about white leds is that you can change parts to different colors, blue, green, red, etc

it's translucent vinyl from garage 1217, the same place where I bought the polarized film for the lcd's. they have it in a bunch of colors.

Looks really good deltaphi! Should be doing it proffesionally already! I used some of the red translucent film to make the gas and temp gauge show a gradient from light red down to dark red. Got it from same place!

That looks good. When I did mine on my 1st gen I used blue paint for RC car bodies.

Looks sweet. I am gonna order my led's and polarized film here shortly and change my gauges. Was gonna go similar to yours but with white and red. Still undecided on how i am gonna do em. I need to tear apart my hvac to make sure i get the right leds for it. I got a 2010 so it looks like it may use more 3mm ones but not sure yet. Since the 1206's are only 20 cents each i wanna order everything i need and some extra since i will pay about the same price to ship them lol...
