The G and Frontier are highly pissed at the Q for being in the garage. :usuck::usuck:

And yes, to maintain compliance with the South Carolina Constitution, I made a trip to WalMart for milk and eggs. I actually bought bacon, Manwich sauce, and tater tots, but I'm thinking I at least complied with the spirit of the law!

Of course schools and businesses closed early today!

SC blizzard

I'm a Columbia native, and I recall a couple of 8 inch snows in the 60s and 70s. Places should close; SC drivers don't do snow well. Now I live in the NC mountains, have AW car, and 4x4 Fronty. I'm ecstatic about the snow we've gotten since December. Here, the snow is either white or yellow; it doesn't get black except in town.

:fantastic:

This weather is crazy man!!! It was snowing a couple weeks ago; us in Charleston got 3 inches of snow...3 INCHES!!! Last time we got measurable snow fall was in 1989 after hurricane Hugo. Two weeks later after the snow fall the temp is back up to 65-70 degrees! I love this place, its my original home and I love the smell of the Lowcountry *pluff mud*. If you don't know what pluff mud is, you'd probably say it smells like poop, but for locals it smells good in a weird way. But I loved the stability of the weather in Seattle, WA when I lived there. 45-55 degrees and rain 275 days of the year.

Blizzard

Okay, the meterology folks defined it as a blizzard (but x2 lol). Snow is always a novelty for Southerners.

Pluff mud. It's how my nose always knew when we were at the beach. Are you too young to remember when it snowed 20 inches in Myrtle Beach? Talk about feeling cheated in Cola!

That was the first time I had to drive in snow and hopefully the last.
I think we got about 4-5" around Summerville/Goose Creek.
