Hello all.

I am a turbo and fuel injection specialist. I have owned a ton of Z and ZX's. I lived in the Cayman Islands where I worked on a ton of Skylines and RB motors of almost every flavor. I built a Twin Turbo Nissan Titan and now am about to start a Frontier project, so I decided to become a member here to post my progress and resurch info. So thanks for the welcome.

Intakes worked awsome, its not a air tight seal at all back there. Texas gets some big floods and rain and I didn't want the Titan to loose any truck ablity. I could not imagine leaving the air inlets open under the body. I know STS does it but not me. I have seen a few 300ZXTT loose motors to hydrolic lock cause of rain falls in Miami. I made a filter box for the bed but it was never used.

Yea that is my issue with the sts system. For even light offroad duty its a big chance. Filterbox would have been cool i think

Ya I don't usually do alot of remote style systems, but they do work. I am thinking about picking up a CTS-V Caddilac and ripping off the STS design. I'm not big on putting the filter out side, specially in Miami where rain and floods are a regular thing. I am sure I will get away with it just by using care, but on a truck you don't want to have to do that. I am happy to say the filter placement worked fine on this Titan set up. Some may not like it but the alternative could have been a disaster in deep water.

I thought about picking up a ctsv before but the rear end issues scared me away from it
Ya I saw a video of a guy that took 2 years to build a turbo CTSV he broke the diff in 2 days. I think if I drive it like it was a daily street car and not like I stole it I can get some life out of it. Since the new supercharged CTSV came out the 04-06 cars have dropped hard in price. Hope fully I can afford one after I move back to Miami from TX and settle in. I was thinking I would keep it mild, put a Magnacharger headers and maybe a cam but a turbo will cost me less to build. I run with a pretty tuff group in Miami and if your not making 600whp nowadays your parked.
