I was coming home last night and a deer jumped out in front of me, I swerved off the road and went into the ditch going about 25 MPH. The ditch has just been dug to do some underground work or something because the mud was VERY loose.
A big 4x4 Chevy came by and pulled me out very easily. So off I went, no problems, until I got up to about 50 MPH and the truck starts shaking. (the faster I go the more it shakes)

I'm going to take into into the dealer ASAP, but in the meantime does anyone have any idea what may be causing this??

Is there mud stuck to the back side of the rims? The weight can alter the ride.

uhm, yea, look for mud in your wheels. wash it good. does it feel like its front or back? did you peel a wheel weight off? you may have warped a rim if you hit anything solid, (would have felt like hitting a curb), but if you didn't feel an impact like that its mud.

the night this happened i washed off TONS of mud, but it was still shaking pretty bad, but then in the day light i was able to see behind the wheel, and as it turns out the whole backside of it was completely caked, got that all off and now we're good to go!!

This happens a lot in the northern states when it snows. The snow gets caked into the wheels and it begins to shake until it flys out. This is especially bad for the LE guys with the 4 spoke 17s. There is a ton of room for the snow/mud to fit. I would guess the best would be the 6spoke nismos since they have the least amount of area for debris to enter.

Glad you're OK and so is the truck! I hit a large whitetail doe in my wranger going 55 and somehow managed to keep it on the road. I've come so close to hitting at least a dozen more but luckily never had to dive for the ditch! A few times I didn't even see it until it would have been too late anyway. We need these varmints exterminated!!!! They are like a plague here in southeastern Pennsylvania. We have so much suburban spraul that it really limits hunting.

A buddy of mine grew up in Oklahoma. he now lives in Maryland. He has hit two with cars and countless with arrows. the problem you east coast guys have is there isn't enough hunter and too many mis-informed people who would rather see a herd ravaged by disease or starvation than cleanly killed and eaten.
