they are the besti always love these "best gas mileage ever" threads
always stirs up debates about the "right" mods, who gets what normally, what oil is the best, tires, etc... entertaining to watch reallythey are the best
I wonder if at that higher elevation (in a different part of the country) they use a different type of fuel ie: +/- ethanol or another fuel addative???Mine only gets 21+ mpg at higher altitudes. Figure that one out. At lower altitudes I get 1-2 MPG less. I took a recent trip to La Pine Orgeon which is about 3K feet higher elevation than where I live in CA. Up there, on a tank I filled in CA, I was averaging 21.2 MPG. On the way home (which is mostly downhill) after I refilled the tank again in CA I averaged about 19.5 at highway trailer towing speeds.
All this and was also towing my lightweight 4X8 box trailer the entire time so my speed averaged about 62 MPH.
