I was thinking of doing a roll-on bed liner and was curious what is to be done with the rubber caps on the floor and side walls of the bed. Do they need to be removed when applying the liner or do you just roll over and cover them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did my bed with Herculiner roll in bedliner and I just put masking tape around the plugs and screws for my tail lights plus anything else that might have to be removed. Good thing too, once that stuff dries it's on there for good.

I checked them out the other day and it looks like I should be able to apply the Herculiner right over the rubber plugs. I popped them off them off and they just cover up wholes that don't go to anything. I think they just cover up where one would mount the rails that can be installed. Maybe someone can confirm this.
