Hey, everyone -

Someone stole the moveable brackets for my bed extender (left the extender, though) and I'm having a hell of a time finding new ones.

I've searched and found a few threads on them but nothing all that recent. I know the bed extender is made by amp-research and when I called them they stated unable to send me or sell me just the brackets and I'll need a new package including the bed extender.

Has anyone figured out a DIY bracket setup?

Any help is much appreciated! Even better, if you've got some you'd wanna sell - let me know haha

Update...

I tried the ol' "if mom says no ask dad" tactic and called amp research back hoping to get a different rep

Another rep picked up and told me that if the dealers around me were unable to order anything in for me then they'd be able to send me the brackets separate. I called a couple of the dealers, they of course told me they couldnt order them and they were only sold as a kit, so i called Amp back and they processed the order

brackets are 45 bucks per side plus shipping which is about 100 bucks total. Expensive but better than buying the full kit for appx 250.

I have some I don't need that you can have for cost of shipping.

Well, I should add, I don't know what brand they're for (I already had brackets when I bought a bed extender and the guy gave me his utilitrack brackets)...but I'll send you pics if you're interested.

I can't find these brackets anywhere so if anyone has a set they're willing to sell, I'm willing to buy!
