A buddy with a 97 Hardbody was catching some heat from his father for letting this thing sit in the yard so he let me have it for 50 bucks. No problems with it what so ever except the color. 30 bucks in flat black rattle cans later and now it looks way better.

I noticed you painted your flares and front bumper, how is the paint holding up? And what paint did you go with. I am thinking about doing this but i also want to paint my step rails and roof rack.

Some of the XE's came stock with black fascia and flares. The top looks awesome on the yellow truck!

Looks very nice! My '97 HB came with an ugly Hi-rise style aluminum cap that I took off immediately... but yours looks great on the truck - especially with the black flares and bumper.

As much as anything I didn't like looking through three panes of glass in the rear view mirror.

My flares and bumper are sooo faded. They aren't painted, just raw plastic. You can see the difference on the bumper where the rest of the flare is supposed to be (hit a deer). I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about them.
