Just got off the phone with bank's power and they are now taking pre orders for their new exhaust for 2005 frontys. The titan guys love them and i hear nothing but good things from other users of their product. It is a little on the expensive side but on par with other all stainless steel exhaust and this exhaust is tailor engineried for the best performance for the fronty. They have not updated their website but if you call they will be able to tell you all about it. The exhaust will ship starting Monday 14nov05.

Mine's on order! Just got confirmation from Jerseyparts that the order was submitted to Banks this afternoon! With any luck, I should have it next week!

Brain, thanks again for your outstanding customer service! I also think you have the best price on the net for this system as well! Hard to find a good Stainless Steel performance exhaust for that price! :D
It's my understanding this is a bolt on system. I certainly hope it is because mine is scheduled for delivery this week, and I'll be installing it this weekend!
Quite honestly, there probably isn't much difference in performance. Both replace the restrictive stock "Y" pipe with a freer flowing design and both have 3" pipes. The biggest difference will be in the construction of the muffler and possibly the sound.

I had a Gibson system on my F-150 and really liked it. It wasn't as loud as the other brands available at the time. I have never heard or used the Banks system before, but the price for a Stainless Steel system was cheaper than the Gibson, so I thought I'd give it a try. My Gibson system was the Aluminized system, but I was living in Georgia at the time and didn't worry about salted roads in the winter. This go-round I wanted Stainless Steel for the durability, and Banks offers a lifetime warranty on their system.

My Banks exhaust should be here this week, and I hope to have it installed this coming weekend. I'll let you know how it goes and my thoughts as to how the sound compares to the Gibson I had on my Ford.
My Banks exhaust arrived today! Yee Haw! I hope to have it installed sometime this weekend.

I think once Gerald gets a gander at this bad boy he's gonna want one cause it sure is shiny!
