Hey,
Ordered the Bak Revolver X2 for my King Cab Pro-4X, between long shipping times and damaged parts causing more delays, finally got it on the truck to reveal more issues, and trying to find out at this point if it's something I'm doing wrong or if there's other issues at play.

The biggest issue being that with the cover down, when i try to close the tailgate it just bounces off of the rudder seal at the end as the tailgate protector peice and the latch on the rail doesn't have enough clearance. ( I tried sliding the cover as far forward as I could, but even then the tailgate doesn't fully latch right )

The second issue, is that the specified 1/8 gap on the rails to the plastic tabs on the cover doesn't exsist, when rolling the cover down it tends to roll over top the rail and requires firm pressure to be pushed in, and then when unrolling it, it gets caught up in the rails and feels like it wants to break the plastic tabs off.

I'm hoping it's something I did wrong on the install, and that's it's an easy fix.

Hopefully someone out there has the same cover that can guide me in the right direction

Thank you !!

I have one on my '16 CC and it fits great. If you have it all the way forward and you can't close the tailgate that leads me to believe they may have sent you the wrong one (for a truck with a slightly bigger bed) . Did you buy it directly from BAK or a re-seller?

I'd contact BAK or your retailer (probably better luck with your retailer).

It was bought through a reseller who ordered it direct from BAK ( only took three months to arrive lol ), the part number on the box and cover match for my truck. But I'd agree with something being off, and the customer service at BAK only seemed to start existing after calling them out on Facebook
