Usually a high performance pad like that will cause more rotor wear. The extra stopping power has to come from somewhere since you didn't increase surface area of the pad. Its logical that the pad will be more aggressive to account for the extra power. On my last Frontier I bought EBC green stuff pads and they were doing to same thing. Added wear just comes with added performance.

I've never swapped to anything higher than OEM grade rotors so I don't have an answer for you. Maybe a more performance orientated rotor would hold up better? Not sure.
