Just installed an aux rear reverse light and moved/recessed the factory trailer wiring harness into the rear bumper. got the idea from the thread below.
http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f10/new-backup-lights-installed-pics-30067/

wanted more light for backing up in dark areas and help w/visibility because I have a cap on the back.
Its a new Hella light i got from rallylights.com runs an H3 bulb. took some persuasion and some modding to the light but turned out well. light comes with 3 ears on it for bolting it down flush. ended up cutting them off and notching the bumper for a twist in fitment. turned out great!
got it wired inside the rear cap to a distribution block running off direct batt power for an inverter I have inside and hooked to a dual throw switch so i can turn it on if i need a little light to set up camp or whatev. tied into the reverse switch on one side for the reverse power.
moved the trailer harness up so i wouldn't drag it. had to cut the ears off of it too. then just cut off the mount on the hitch.

Any more info on the distribution block you are running?

Thanks. The block is in the last photo. Radio shack, nothing fancy. Tool box is mounted in front of it all protecting/hiding it.

Im getting a hitch in the mail in a few days. I wanted to know if any one knows if I can get this http://www.truckshop.com/product.php?productid=18005&cat=352&bestseller so I can put the hole for the 7 pin plug under the lic. plate. Then Im going to do the lights on both sides of the plate.

I don't see why you couldn't hide it behind the flip plate. Only thing being that the 7 pin connectors aren't that flush, prob stick out close to an 1" from the surface. Unless you somehow spaced out the flip plate similarly it might look a little funny.
If you order the Optilux lights shown in the other thread, make sure you get the pig tails with them. they have a special plug in the back.
