the day where i have been waiting for a second gen frontier to come totalled in the shop. and that day has arrived. its a white CC SB. 08 with 32K. if i can get it for the right price im gunna rebuild it. planning on new paint too. like a sunburnt- sunset orange with black flake and pearl. im pretty stoked. and yeah sorry i have not been on here for a while i just have been busy with work and school and i picked up an 82 yota for a beater mountain rig. anyway just sharing my findings lol :fantastic:

Damn! Other than the hood is there a straight panel left on that thing?

The tailgate and driver's door look okay.
Some heavy duty rubbing compound will buff most of those panels out.

only about a few literally lol but yes just some compound should take that right out :laugh:

im hoping the cab is okay where the passenger dooors are crumpled. but the pillar should be fine.

oh yeah and im dissapointed that its a SB but hey its an 08 cc haahha

we fix frames, cant tell right now, seems okay. but well know when it gets up on the rack.

How many hours labor would you think the repairs are?

ehhh, take its guts and put em in the first gen, IMO wouldn't be worth rebuilding but to each his own.

His family has a body shop so it's not as big a challenge as it would be to others.

not too sure, haha its really a pretty easy fixer. new bed, new doors, new bumper, a lil bondo here and there. but there will be some hours for sure lol

this one would be a cake walk to redo, waaay easier than my 03.

I just junked a Crewcab bed.. I would turn it in to a race truck.. but then.. that is what I am doing with mine.. but there is a new Oregon desert racing group starting up this year.
