[Frontier 47]

Hi everyone , im hopeing someone can give me some feedback . I have a 2016 frontier pro4x brand new . The tranny shifts so erratically that it isn't enjoyable to drive . Going up hill it down shifts way to late unless you put your foot into it and then when it does down shift it almost immediately shifts up again creating this flat spot in performance . It would be like driving in 5th when you should be in 3rd in a standard tranny . I also get annoyed by this lunging feeling when coming to a red
light and the tranny down shifts as speed
reduces and rpm goes up momentarily so it
feels like you are being pushed briefly . Anybody else experience this .

Bring it to the dealership, have you check the fluid level yet?

My tranny has been pretty smooth for 10 years, even with various tunes.

11 years for my auto and it still shifts as good as new and smooth as butta.

Since it is a new truck, I'd just bring it in to the dealership for warranty service. But, I know the transmission control module does need to learn shift patterns when the truck is new. However, it sounds like it is definitely a bit wonky.
