first of all i did a seach and didnt find anything. i have a 2010 cc 4x4 se automatic. it has 9000mi and in the past few weeks the shift from 2nd to 3rd is real hard. i feal good sharp bump. it doesnt do it all the time. half the time it shifts fine. all the other shifts are like butter. it doesnt mater if i start off slow or kinda fast. if i floor it it shifts fine. i tried reseting the ecu but it didnt help. is there anything else i can try? can the dealer reprogram it? i have herd of a "reflash" but i dont know what that does. i would rather eat crap than go to the dealer. any help would be greatly appreciated. by the way, it is full of fluid.

thats what i thought. until now, if it wasnt for the tach or the sound of the motor i wouldnt know the transmission was shifting. it is, or was realy smooth. i guess i will have to go to the dealer and hear them say its normal.

well i took the truck to the dealer and got it back today. i dove around with the service guy and he was able to feal the hard shift twice. he said there was no trouble codes showing and that was all he said. it was realy odd. as soon as he felt it shift he acted like he didnt know what to say. we got back to the dealer and he said if it gets worse i should call him. he didnt say it was normal or not so i took my truck and left. im not someone who nitpicks about everything and i know alot about cars but this is not normal. should i call nissan or just drive it and see if it gets worse? i know no car or truck is perfect and i expect to have some things go wrong with any make of truck but this truck is 5 months old and has had alot of this go wrong. any advice would be helpful. thanks

I have a 2005 and I have a hard 1-2 shift. I have 78k miles. Did a drain anf fill of trans fluid (not complete flush) and it did not help at all. Took it to the dealer and they told me there were no trouble codes showing. I would be more assertive and MAKE them do something for you. I am going to try a full flush in about 3 weeks and will report back the results....
