i was doing a brake job and i broke the famous plastic fixed cam assembly so instead of buying a new auto hub from nissan I'm gonna switch out to some manual lockers is there any thin i will need besides the hubs? or anything that is easy to over look?
any input would be help full and appreciate thanks guys

dude, your gunna hate manaul hubs after having autos. i think they suck imo lol

i just got the truck so im not used to them plus i probably only use 4 wheel 5 times a year
yes, i use it alot more, but it is a pain having to get out and in locking and freeing the hubs when your done. especially when your in a sticky situation. auto is the way haha

Is there any benefit to manual hubs as far as gas milage or less wear and tear on front end components if you hardly ever use 4WD? The only time I use 4WD is the occasional snow storm.

i just fiished the swap it was a peice of cake took only 20 minutes. so i have a auto hub for sell with a working fix cam assembly if any one needs on pm me

and thanks hertz theat link was helpfull to give me an idea of what i was getting in to

I have auto hubs now, but I prefer manual ones. There is less to fail and I don't really think they are that much of a pain.
