Hello,
My 2003 4x4 SC won't shift into 4th gear until it's warm. This is an intermittent issue so it doesn't always happen but when it does, it sometimes takes 10 - 20 min of driving before it will upshift into 4th gear. It shifts through all the other gears normally so I believe this has something to do with the Automatic Transmission temperature sensor. I saw one other post on this forum but there was no definitive answer so I was wondering if anyone has had run into this issue before and what the fix was. If the AT temp sensor, how hard is it to change this?
