Ash Tray?

i dont believe nissan offers the smokers package in the frontier. not sure about the other lines they have. several makers have either done away with it as standard and may or may not offer it as an add on package.

Mylt1, thanks, I know they don't offer the ashtray at all; I was hoping someone knew about one I could buy aftermarket that would look good as an attachment underneath instead of in the cup holder.

Well, the ashtray, ideally, should slide in, out of sight, where the ash cup just sits there taking up cup space.

DId they add an "ash cup" for '10? I know on my '05 there is no ash tray in any shape or form.

So, with two cup holders in the center console, one in each of two front doors, one in each of two rear doors, and two cup holders at the rear bottom of the center console, you don't have enough room for one ash cup?

Yes, I took the liberty of assuming you have a crew cab, however, even with a king cab you have at least 4 cup holders.

So I'm showing anywhere from 3~7 empty cup holders, good God man, do you roll with 96~224oz (assuming a 32oz cup) of liquids at all times?

Yes, I am poking fun, I get it, you smoke, and want an ashtray. Been there done that. It's all good.

I have the KC and it has 6 cup holders, but it is more than that - it's an aesthetic thing. I don't want a nasty ash cup sitting in the middle of my truck. (Yes, I smoke and it's nasty.)

Listen people, forget about this cup holder thing - we've gotten off course. I would love to know if anyone can help me find an ash TRAY for under the 4x4 switch. Let's pretend I want to keep change in it - would that help?

Might be worth a trip to a junk yard. You'll probably need to pull everything (brackets included) from donor vehicle and then mount it to the bottom side of dash as desired.

^the 12v. ports in our trucks don't work with "pop-out" lighters; just wondered if there was a quick fix besides the wrecking yard. Thanks for the thought tho'.

Sure am glad I don't have to worry about ashtrays and lighters anymore! Been free from the nicotine addiction for almost 3 years now! (I was a smoker for 40 years and quit a number fo times, but never longer than 6 months).

By the way, my Frontier has NEVER been smoked in and it smells great! :fantastic:

you know at 35mph the butt goes right in the bed of the truck right? I toss all sorts of sh*t in the bed of my truck. and when you hammer down on the big road all that stuff will find its way out!!

Obviously your not from California,,,, ever see our wild fires. Tossing a cigarette around here could get you a $400 fine plus some time cleaning the freeways in a flashy orange vest!

just kidding. check out auto zone, pep boys, etc. sometimes they have universal ones, although i have not seen em in a while.

I don't smoke, nor would I buy a used vehicle if the PO smoked, I think smoking and driving is dangerous just like cell phones. With all that said, I think it should be offered as an option by the manufacturer. Maybe a Smoker's package that has an ashtray & lighter.

What you do is your buisness as far as I am concerned, I used to smoke myself and I know that if they ever prohibit smoking as some people wish, there will be HELL to pay as tobacco goes underground as a contraban and becomes an "illegal drug".
