dunno - but i was less than impressed with my PIAAs. One blew in three months. I've since replaced them with Philips X-treme and they are just as good, if not better.

i have the silverstar ultras and think they are great but ive heard ppl talkin to good about teh piaas. so i was just curious

Yes, they are real. Looks just like the old bulb that I have left from a two pack. I also have Silverstar Ultras now. I was blowing the PIAA bulbs way too fast for some reason. One of them only lasted a few minutes after install. I don't think I'll be buying any more unless they lower the price.

thanks for clearing this up with me guys. i was just curious cuz im going to be getting the silverstars for the 07 also. i dont think im up for buying new bulbs every month lol

ive had one go out in just under 2 years.

i wont buy any more piaa bulbs like said above they blow out quick
i had super whites one went 8 mos after i put them in,had to change them both out to match,think maybe ill try the silverstars next

I just bought a set of Silverstars today. I noticed that on the back of the box that they have a shortened life than stock. They do have a one year warranty

yup - they just started making them in 9007 (American format) but they have been quite popular with the European market and also with VWs. I've run them in three different vehicles now - before Silverstar and Osram caught up, so to speak.

I found these Philips X-tremes at a local Napa dealer, much to my surprise.
