So, I've searched this a bit and found some varying info. Basically, I think the brake pedal is positioned too high. The feeling of it is OK, but the position for me is terrible. I can't just move my foot I have to kind of pull my whole leg back to hit the pedal. Very uncomfortable especially in traffic.

So I guess I'm wondering if anyone has lowered the brake pedal position? I don't really want the brakes to grab sooner or anything, just want to be able to transition smoother to the brake pedal from the gas pedal.

shorten your legs
Plan B honestly haha. I've mentioned it somewhere else here but I really wish the seat went back further. I'm far from super tall (just over 6') but my legs feel cramped in the Fronty. But I'd settle for the brake pedal moving further. Thought about calling the dealer to see but maybe someone here has looked into it.

I've seen posts here and elsewhere about adjusting the feel/pressure of the pedal, but I just want to move the sucker away.

Yep, I lowered mine as I felt the same way about it.

If you look up under the dash behind the pedals the rod that the brake pedal actuates has a jam nut on the clevis. Loosen that nut and spin the rod to move the pedal closer or further away from the floor.

CAUTION: Be sure to check and see that the pedal does not hit the floor during a panic brake after adjusting by nearly standing on the pedal with the truck running. It should not hit the floor.
AWESOME! how close is your brake pedal in relation to the gas pedal now? Still slightly above it, or more even with it?
