my mechanic says that he adds this to some transmissions for a cheap, long lasting torque converter shudder fix. anyone have used this? any negative sideeffects? LINK TO PRODUCT

My thoughts on additives are simple - if it's good for xyz item, then everyone would be putting it in abc fluid.

I had a posi rear replaced on my 2002 Frontier. It made a whirring sound on turns. The mechanic went to the Chevy dealer and bought an additive that he referred to as "whale oil" and the sound disappeared immediately and never came back.
Maybe this is a product that actually does something.
