I had Bighorns on for about two years before switching to a bigger tire (Cooper STT) and all I can say is that it's a very strong tire. I used it on tarmac, rocks, sand & mud and it's just terrific, a bit noisy maybe due to its hard compound but its all-round performance was very good (never got stuck).
Bighorns hardly show any signs of tears or damage after two years whereas my STTs which are made of a softer compound show more wear (and I've only had them on for one year).
I'd like to try the BFGoodrich KM2 but to me the Maxxis Bighorn is just indestructible.
