im searching for a spare tire and dont want the steel rim under neath because its so heavy. Has anyone mounted an SE rim or similiar where the spare tire is suppose to go? and will i have problems if its a 295/75 going under there?? went on a long trip without a spare and lots of sharp rocks could of screwed me over onthe side walls but with cautious driving it went well for us.. so any input would be wonderful.. aloha..

I got my 285/75/16 in with no issues (steel wheel).
I thought the LE's came with the alloy spare.... Just have to remove the centercap.

best i can say is try it see if it fits, you either like it there or you dont.
my other suggestion would be to mount it up in the bed off to the side maybe.(that gives the off road rough neck look)throw in some of those old jerry cans mounted in next to it

Yeh, my LE has a regular alloy LE rim for the spare. I currently have a 265/70/17 under the truck. Like everyone said, just has the center cap knocked out.
