Hello,

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. It looks like some great stuff in here and some very knowledgable people. Anyway, here's my question.

I noticed that several of you guys buy parts on ebay so I went there and did a search for 01 Frontier and started randomly browsing the 169 auctions just to see what they offered and the prices.

I stumbled across a couple of things that look interesting but wanted your advice before I buy something like this.

Has anyone heard of "The Juice Box" (supposed to give you a 12-20% horsepower increase for only $28 ) or "The Mega Fuel Saver" (supposed to increase MPG by up to 23% really cheap depending on engine size) offered by The Juice Box Company?

Here are two links to the auctions.

Juice Box

Fuel Saver

For the prices these seem too good to be true. Anyone got any experience with either?

Thanks, Dave

Hey dave, the "juice box" is basically a resistor you could pick up at radio shack. Its put in a box and tricks you cars computer to think that cooler air is coming into the engine. There are no horsepower gains, and actually decreases mileage. Usually if the price is too good to be true, it is! Hope this helps.

Thanks for you input guys and I hear what you are saying...

But... they do have 3000+ feedback and 99% positive. They sort of explain the cheap prices by saying that they are the manufacturer (no middleman).

That said, it still seems too good to be true... I was hoping someone had bought one just to give it a try (hell they are cheap enough) and could report.

Also, has anyone used the "Tornado" Fuel Saver?

Thanks Dave

These "chips" are actualy re-packaged $0.50 resistors and are a complete rip-off. The Tornado is also snake oil. To read unbiased reviews, complete with dyno tests, read these articles:
