Took my truck in because #1 it won't start right away, turn the key once, won't start, turn twice, starts, Dealer inspected charging system, inspected primary and secondary ignition system, "normal", Picked up my truck and started right up. Went to work, truck set for 3 hrs., same bs, wouldn't start at first try. Anyone else have this prob?

I havent had this problem personally but i know someone who did have the problem and it had something to do with not enough fuel in the lines upon start up. He basically would have to turn the key to the acc position and wait couple seconds then start, or sumthin like that.

Hey thanks for the info, I'll try, don't think I should have to. 'Here is what else the dealer tech said, don't understand it but here it goes "No DTS's set in ECM, Checked for TBS's in assist, none found for the concern" Thanks for any input! Greatly appreciated!

Well if they cant fix it and you take it in 2 more times you get a new truck, be persistent and if you have to try another dealership!
The cool thing is that my neighbor is the parts manager @ my dealership! Hopefully, that will be in my favor!

It certainly should help when you are buying Nissan accessories for your truck.

Yeah, guess they are coming out with a new grill for the fronty, He asked me to be the guinea pig for the prototype, he wants me to install and give comment. Can't wait.

Fronty won't start.

I had the same problem with my Titan before i traded for a 2005 fronty. After 4 visits they finally replaced th whole computer and suprise, the problem went away!!!. Had nothing to do with fuel lines or ignition system. SOme type of computer glitch.
Have them check that out.

I never had this problem but before we talk about fuel or computers what happens when you turn the key?
 If it makes no noise when you turn the key it is not a fuel problem.
 When you turn the key and hear one click, it's the starter.
 If the engine turns over but not start.Thay should not have check the starting/charging system.

When I turn the key to start it, it trys to start but doesn't, I stop, and try to start it the second time and it turns over and starts. It doesn't always start right away the second time. They inspected charging system operation, inspected primary and secondary ignition systems, normal, I just want it fixed. :(

when you turn the key fuel system should prime (fuel pump turns on for a few seconds). next time you start the truck have someone the tank to listen for the pump.
