I just checked the order link and it didn't work for me either! I guess they are just teasing us! Looks like a pretty nice set-up, but I wonder about the claimed HP gains! Most intake mods are normally good for about 5 - 8HP, 11 HP sounds to good to be true! If it's accurate, this intake and a Gibson Exhaust would give you an easy 285 HP for around $600.00, which is not to shabby!

I'd be interested in a group buy as well! Keep us posted! I'd like the red pre-filter as well, it'd go well with my truck!

This the one of the first intakes I've seen for the 2005 Frontiers and a little searching found some nice articles of their intakes installed in Dodge and Fords. Anyone here ever used one of these? http://www.afefilters.com/frontiereview.htm
I got it straight fromthe so called horse's mouth that it will be in the $300-$350 & should be coming out in about 2-3 weeks

Got the a response e-mail as followed:

"Cliff thanks for writing in. I understand about the "I want it now" idea. We
are right on the edge of introducing the CAI system for the Frontier. Should be
in about 2-3 weeks. The price should be about $ 300.000 to $350.00, maybe we
can work out a group discount rate if you can get enough people to sign up. I
will post any info in the forum as I get it.

Thank You

My bad everyone. I should have checked the "Order Now" link to see if it was already available. Looks like quite a few people can't wait to get their hands on this puppy huh. Wish I could get one but still trying to organize the finances after buying the truck. Keep us posted on how it works. Mahalo,

Dennis, thanks for posting this thread, my braddah! I no can wait. Hopefully it's as good as their "dyno" results say it is. Just a product to "enhance" our awesome trucks.

I'm sure mdcain, who is now a forum member is taking headcount, thanks again Mdcain!

Aloha,
Cliff

Looks like a good design to me, and I'd like to get my hands on one. I talked to a service rep at aFe on 7/19 and he said that he expected them to be available in a couple of weeks. For those of you not familiar with the performance aftermarket, that really means 8-10 weeks. One enterprising dealer already has a few of them up for bid on eBay--when I contacted him he admitted that they weren't in stock but should be here in "a couple of weeks." You can count me in on a group buy, but the price needs to be much better than the $300-350 quoted on this thread--the aFe web site shows the MSRP to be $292.85. Surely a group buy with a decent quantity would net us a better price. Just my $0.02.

Aloha Reverend, thanks for your input. I was kinda hoping that you gave us feedback as I really enjoyed reading your "product reviews" from your webpage-- awesome write-ups. If there is any progress, we'll post.
