I'm in West Virginia-western part of the state near Huntington. I know today everyone recommends 4 snow tires but we never used to do it. I was a tire store manager from 1980-87 & I don't understand the reasoning. Todays all season radials are fine for the front but I have a hill to climb to my house & I'd rather have snow tires. My last truck was an F150 2wd with limited slip diff & I'd spin all the way up with all season tires but it would still climb it. I'm afraid with an open diff I may have trouble

Okay, I can understand your reasoning now. If you only really need them to get up a hill, then I can see only using 2 but if you need them for daily driving on the roads with turns, I would prefer 4.

Re-read his original post. He has an 07 XE 2nd gen 4banger with oem 15s. His only option is 2nd gen wheels (Frontier, Xterra, Pathfinder). Dodge Dakota rims share the same pattern but the offset is wrong.
