My truck is. 2012 sv automatic with 4.0 . It feels like it's loSt power . Like I have to hit gas harder to get going . Also sometimes when I let off the gas to coast it stays at 3k Rpms even when going down hill . Also sometimes when i accelerate it kind of ticks . Is that normal ?

Is it due for a trans service? Not shifting at the right times could make you perceive a power loss as the truck tries to pull a gear too high for the load.

I've also found a computer relearn makes the truck feel lively again once it starts to feel slow. Could be in my head, but it usually feels more powerful after doing so.

it actually just had the service done 1k miles ago . I'm thinking maybe an engine air filter ?

Man there are about 100 things that could be causing it to be down on power. Start with the basics and keep working deeper and deeper until something is discovered.
-Induction system: check for vac leaks, throttle body function, inlet pipe system sealed, MAF working, filter clean, etc.
-Fuel system, check system pressure. Have injectors tested (more advanced)
-Exhaust - is it free flowing, no restrictions? was it crushed by Midas when they tried to jack up your truck? etc.
-Lubrication - Got oil in it?
-Ignition - change plugs, it is not that hard. Dont cheap out, get the OEM NGK ones.
-Transmission - any CEL codes? shifting OK? enough fluid? fluid look a good color? Is the transmission in limp mode? (would cause similar symptoms to what you are seeing). Do you have the milkshake of death happening (ATF mixing with coolant)?

Beyond that, take it to a mechanic.
