I know I know....but I've scoured the forum for hours, days, weeks. Probably to the point where I've just confused myself hahaha.

Anyways, my question is this. 2.5" lift up front and 1.5" lift in the rear. I'm looking at the MB TKO wheels with a +12 offset and a 8.5" rim width. I'm torn between 265/75/16 or 285/75/16 BF Goodrich KO 2's. Can someone please tell me if there would be a lot of trimming required with the 285's? My mudflaps have been removed. I don't want to do too much trimming but I also want a tire that fills the space and I'm worried that the 265's will look too small with the lift. Thanks for the help!!

I had to do the melt mod to fit my 285's but it's fast and easy, not even a one pop job. I prefer the look of my truck with the 2" lift and 285's than with my 265's. I had to remove the lower air damn on the front as well.

Sounds like you have been busy getting your truck the way you want it. If you don't mind post a photo so we can see your before and after of your modifications. ::smile::

Based on the 2 sizes you are looking at and not wanting to do modifications we would recommend the MB TKO 16x8.5 +12 with 265/75R-16 BFG KO2. This will be a good fit and not require modifications.

Here is a link to them on our web site:

MB Wheels | Discount Tire Direct

BFG T/A KO2 | Discount Tire Direct

The BFG T/A KO2 is a solid tire that works out for many. If you would like, we would be happy to confirm this is the right tire for your needs. Just send us a PM.
