Another difference between Thai and Spanish built Navs

I had to replace one of my rear light clusters. To cut a long story short, I wasn't keen to pay Nissan prices (over $500) for a new part so hit eBay. Picked up a set from a guy who ditched the tray off his ST. I figured how different could they be?

Turns out they are structurally identical. The wiring harness needed to be swapped out though. The harnesses use the same number of pins in the plug, but Nissan (in their wisdom) use a different plug on the Thai built vehicles.

Minor, but something to be aware of if ever you go shopping for tail light clusters.

Thats interesting. When i had my tray replaced after someone runing up the back of me, im sure the repairer found a new tray recently removed from a Thai built Nav. From what I have seen with they work they did, the plugs and harness were not swapped.
No, they kept the tailgate and one light cluster, I checked, the light that was not busted was my original one.
