I specifically got the Frontier 2 years ago for camping. My wife and I love to camp, have used a large LL Bean tent for years, but were ready for the next thing, which is a teardrop. Nothing complicated with indoor kitchen and bath, just a king sized bed, 2 side doors and a rear kitchen. I have added a batwing awning that with the 10x10 canopy I have makes us rain proof mostly. Ive also added a 1000w power station and stand-alone solar panel that allow us many days of boondocking. The Frontier is a terrific tow vehicle, cannot now wait for some warmer weather in the middle atlantic states and New England to get us out on our first trip.
