Out of the blue I'm getting a high pitched pulsating interference in my AM radio when the key is on. Switching to ACC makes it go away after a couple of seconds. Turn the key back on and it starts again. I can hear a very high pitched but not loud noise under the hood with the key on that I don't think I heard before (of course I wasn't looking or listening until the radio problem) No interference on FM or when playing CD's. No obvious changes in performance.
Any ideas what could be causing the interference and seemingly related noise? If not I guess a trip to the dealer is in my future since it's probably an indication of something on the road to failure.
