Hey, everyone...

2012 Frontier Pro4x KC

Installed a new in dash last night - unit works great and the bluetooth controls are hooked up as well (phone bypass under the passenger seat done, too). New mic run and works great.

Well, I of course turned the vehicle on with the dash apart so I could test everything out before buttoning everything up and now the airbag light is flashing.

I've searched like crazy here and google with no luck. I've attempted the reset probably 100 times thus far today (not an exaggeration). I turned the vehicle on, turned it off when the light went off, counted to 5, repeated twice more until the light would blink slow, turned off, waited 5, then turned on...and its still on. Sometimes it'll go back to a fast blink and other times it'll stay on the slow blink.

Does anyone have any ideas of what i could do to possibly get this light to go off???

This light will seriously drive me insane haha

Well, after attempt number 101 - the light went off.

I have no idea why.

I ended up just going out to the truck, unhooking the battery again just because it was something i hadnt tried, and when i tried again - the light is gone.

That's weird. I had the same thing happen but the airbag reset procedure worked for me on the first try, no battery disconnect required. Glad it worked for you finally.
