I just got my truck back from the shop at which the guy said this is an issue I should take to Nissan and they should be able to fix for free.

The printout I got from the mechanic is a Alldata online assist page for "Air Bag Module - Air Bag Warning Lamp ON"

I told him my passenger airbag is set to off, but he said there's an issue here with an open circuit the dealer should be able to fix.



I dont hardly ever have passengers, and the airbag is off all the time anyways. Do I really need to worry about this?

I went through this with my 99 KC a couple of years ago. I ended up taking it to the dealer and they fixed in "in accordance with TSB" - it was something to do with the harness to the passenger air bag. They charged a fair chuck of change to fix it but I don't remember how much.
