Looking at getting new struts for my 2013 frontier. Want something quality but not too expensive. I don't offroad but plan on keeping my truck for years so a bit of an upgrade I might consider based on price. Would you say just stay with oem? Is there something a bit better/higher quality than oem that is not expensive?

Any advice on specific name brands? What price range should I expect in general?

Pretty much everybody is "lifetime warranty" now you got your pick be it KYB Bilstein Monroe. If you are keeping the pickup then its worth it as I replace mine about every 50K cause you cant just do one side.

From personal experience warranty is only as good as the place you purchased in past I have had great experiences with PepBoys I call em up they tell me if it in stock I go with the bad and they exchange them out no shipping crap(BIG REASON) or waiting to hear from returns if they will cover or when Ill get new one. Who wants to be down for weeks waiting right? I believe they stock the Monroe's for our pickup

For the Frontier I went with the Bilstein 5100 adjustable(people here liked them) I couldn't be happier not looking to ride up in the clouds but the ride is great I stuck them on with OME 2608 coil's which gave me about 2"lift.

Paid about the same as online they were having a sale paid $300 for all 4 with discount but 4wd in Plano said when shot bring em in we'll swap em out only reason I went with them so ordered them online with discount found somewhere and had em next time I went down.

did you buy the ome 2608 coils or can you use the coils from the stock set up with the new bilstein 5100's?

As long as yours are good you can use them I only changed the springs to the ome ones because the weight from the winch and bumper I put on
